Just read an interesting review of 'Theodora' by Stella Duffy. A historical novel based on a fabulous character who was variously an actress, a prostitute, circus-performer, a saint, and the consort of a Byzantine emperor in the 6th Century. Her life was fascinating and should make a great story Written by Stella Duffy.
Will probably wait for the paperback - published by Virago priced at £14.99, which I assume is a hardback.
