A novel a day....

Well, perhaps not, more like a week.
A recent read was 'The Suspicions of Mr Whicher' by Kate Summerscale - an interesting murder mystery based on factual events taking place around time of Dickens, with interesting historical references included. A strange but true story, although I did find myself skipping pages towards the end, perhaps just the style becoming a bit too familiar with the ability to guess what comes next all too easy. 7 out of 10.
